This beautiful piece was crafted and painted by Anthony Hernandez. I got to adopt it after it was commissioned by a private client and the leaf on the left broke. It hangs proudly above a door in my office. |

An angel caring two babies. The pastel earth tone was achieved by putting pigment in the plaster before adding the water. The gentle feeling of this plaque seemed appropriate for this color and technique. |

The wheat cherub, an element from a larger Victorian medallion, represents one of the four seasons. I just loved the face of autumn. |
