"Then I saw an ad for ‘Toxic Avenger.’ " She auditioned and got the lead.
"I just have completely winged my life. Truly." What’s been the theme? "Striving for happiness and truth. Changing my own definitions, my own personal dictionary, my own truths. That’s what drove me. The rest was fluff: the movies, the modeling, all the rest."

She defines a cult movie queen in her typically modest, quirky way. "It’s somebody who has done numerous Z films and gets interesting fan mail."
Now Lisa is focused on updating her Web site and building others for clients. "I’m writing for my Web site, then I’ll also think about writing for other people. I have a master plan to do my own TV show based on what I’m doing with the Web.
"And I wouldn’t mind having children, adopting handicapped or underprivileged kids. People think Mia Farrow is crazy. I think she is the most amazing woman in the world. We need more Mia Farrows.
"To the young people especially, I’m considered a cool person. The Web site is cool, what I’ve done with my life is cool. But I want people to understand that it’s really these other ways of thinking that are cool. That’s what’s true."
